Bed/Pelvic Rest

I was at the library on Wednesday when I began to start bleeding.  In fear that I was having a miscarriage I went to the doctor to have a sonogram.  I had the sonogram and everything was okay, measuring 3 days ahead and the heartbeat was 171.  On the way to pick up the boys from their dads work I started bleeding a very significant amount while I was driving.  I picked up the boys and drove home.  I called the doctor to find out about the bleeding.  The songorapher had found a pocket of blood under the fetus sack and said that I would probally have more bleeding before it was over.  I just never thought it would be the amount it was.  My doctor called me and said that to watch the amount of blood and if it didn't get better by the evening then I was to go to the ER.  She also put me on pelvic/bed rest.  By Wednesday evening the bleeding had got better with rest.
I have been on bedrest since Wednesday.  I am going alittle stir crazy but the bleeding is gone for now and I go on Monday to have another sonogram to check on the blood pocket and to make sure everything is okay with the baby.  I have my fingers crossed.  It is so hard to see the heartbeat and then something happen and you don't get to see it.  I have been really sick to my stomach so I am hoping everything will be okay and this is just a bump in the road.
Small Moment:
Dropping off Cray to a lego party and seeing him so excited to play with his friend.

Selling stuff, trip to Walmart, and Ball Game

So, I have started selling the things we don't need on a buy, sell, trade group on facebook and craigslist instead of doing a yard sale.  I am really liking this.  I seem to be sellling things alot better and faster than I did just having a yard sale.  Yesterday was one of those days where I finally got rid of a bike that we have had sitting in our garage forever.  I told Blake we need to go to the basement and go through it so I can start selling the things we never use.
After selling the bike, we attempted Walmart.  I am not a huge fan of taking my children both to the store to shop because it normally stresses me out and I always forget something(and I did).  They were great though.  They had some money they had saved so Cray bought some legos and Boston got a firefighter set that he loves.  We had the normal fighting but yesterday afternoon they played great together.  It is hard to have boys 5 years apart because there are times the oldest just wants to be alone and the 3 year old doesn't understand that.  I love the days that they play together and enjoy each other.
Last night we had our first late game.  I just have to say it was nice that it was cooler when they played but getting home at 10 is too late for children that go to bed at 8.  Cray's team lost by one but they played great. Cray hit the ball twice and made a run.  He has improved so much from last year.  He really loves ball and being active.  I got lucky having two boys that love being outside and being active.  I never have to make them go outside, I just have to fight them to come inside.
Small Moment of the Day:
Having both of my boys tell me in the same day that I am the best mommy ever and it wasn't because I gave them anything.h

Memorial Day Weekend

The boys spent the week before Memorial Day weekend with Grandma.  We had from Tuesday to Saturday just to ourself.  This doesn't happen very often so it was nice to have time for just us.  We got up on Saturday morning and went to C-Town.  When we got there we stopped at Blake's sisters to drop off some stuff and I fell on her stairs on the way out.  I hurt my foot pretty bad.  It hurt all day Saturday but seemed to get better by Sunday.
The boys were excited to see us.  We had a mini bbq party with bison meat, bear meat, and smoked rabbit.  I didn't try any of it.  I have had rabbit before but being pregnant none of it sounded good.  It was so windy this weekend.  We sat outside and the boys played like crazy.  We got to spend time with Brody.  The boys always want to hold him, it is so cute.
We went to a ceremony like thing at the cemetery Sundya afternoon to honor veterans and soliders and went and looked at all the people that were buried in the cemetary that are in Blake's family.  Sunday we found a baby raccoon outside that we think fell out of Blake's parents tree.  He was so cute, he actually let Ryan's son touch him.   I have a feeling the mommy left him but we aren't sure.
Monday we got up and got things together and headed home.  When we got home we drove around for a little while, had a drink at Sonic, and then got out the slip n slide so the kids could play on it.  They were both pretty tired and wante dto go to bed by 7:30pm.
We had a good weekend and now back to ball games and fun summer activities. Hope everyone is having a good start to their summer.

We're Pregnant!

We have known for about 4 weeks that we were pregnant but we were keeping it under raps until I had a sonogram today.  I am just over 7 weeks and everything was good at the appointment.  I will have another sonogram in 2 weeks to make sure everything is still okay.  I am currently taking progesterione to help make it until I get to 12 weeks.  We are beyond excited and are hoping for the best.

Baseball and Everyday stuff

Yesterday was a cleaning, watching kiddos kind of day.  I took Boston to the park for lunch yesterday and then the kids played outside after school.  I have discovered my home is where all the neighborhood kids like to come to.  I open my garage and they flock here.  Not sure yet if this is a good thing or bad thing.  I do like that we live in an area that my kids have other kids to play with.
Today the kids just played in the backyard and I attempted to get some cleaning done.  Didn't get too far due to a headache I have had for like three days and I haven't slept good for over a week. We had a ball game again tonight.  Cray's team lost, but they played awesome.  It amazes me how much better he gets every year and he loves baseball so much.  I am one of those moms that are constantly screaming and rooting him on.  We got home and gave two dirty boys a bath and now trying to relax alittle before starting tomorrow.
Small Moment:
Boston pouring field dirt on his legs and rubbing it in and Crayton asking me where his book was so he could read before bed(reminds me alot of myself).

Mother's Day Weekend

We spent Saturday helping Blake's dad work at the shop.  It was my first time to really help with making trophies and engraving.  We got alot done and had a wonderful lunch and dinner with everyone.  We got to see Brody on Saturday, which was good because he was readmitted this morning because his bili count was high again.
Today we went to a flea market to look around and found some great things and then went for dinner at Famous Dave's before coming home and bathing the boys before bed.
Small Moment:
My three year old pooping in the park because he couldn't find a way out of the park.  Not the best moment in our lives but with that three year old nothing suprises me.  lol.

Summer Ball

I wish I would have gotten a pic of Cray in his ball uniform, he looked so cute.  He has gotten so much better this year.  He had his first game on Tuesday where he hit an RBI (as my husband would say).  We were so proud of him.  There team won Tuesday too.  Then last night he played again and he made a run and hit the ball all but one time.  He really loves summer ball, it consumes our lives but he loves it.  They won again last night.
I had such a crazy day prior to the game.  I had to make cookies for teacher appreciation week, took the kids to the park for lunch, did laundry, cleaned the house, and got some bill stuff done.  Boston is done with school until the fall where he will go 4, 1/2 days a week in PEP and in a week and a day Cray will offically be a 3rd grader.  I am not sure I am ready for that.  Anyways, looking forward to the weekend and getting to actually hold Brody!  I love me so babies!
Small Moment:
Seeing Crayton smile at me as he was going up to bat last night.  I am thankful for being able to be part of every aspect of both my boys lives.
